April 18, 2018, As an innovative and authentic artisan gourmet cuisine, Frestro & Bar always come up with brand new and fresh idea for the selection signature menu served every day, for best lunch and dinner experience. Welcoming summer this year, our new Executive Chef, Chef Gerry Nainggolan, will introduce the very brand new “Brunch Menu” at Frestro & Bar. This Brunch Menu has various selections of menu, from starter, soup until dessert.
Our Executive Chef, Chef Gerry, execute and deliver the food as how he cooks for himself ; carefully and conscientiously. Food is meant to nourish and he aiming to serve food that maintain as many nutrients as possible. Steaming and roasting vegetables, toasting and grinding spices, using fresh, hand-cut herbs in our dishes to enhance stocks, sauces and dressing.
From our brunch signature sandwich, Chef Gerry presents “Avocado Cured Salmon”, made by 24 hour cooked method, using only homemade cured and also using some caviar on it. We call the dish as ‘royal sandwich’ cause of its taste, ingredients and its cooking method. Besides “Avocado Cured Salmon”, there is “Homemade Mushroom Ravioli” as one of Chef Gerry’s signature pasta for this brunch menu selections. As it named as ‘homemade’, we prepared our own pasta and all homemade ingredients in it. Last but not least, for the best dessert presents by our pastry team, is “Mango Cheesecake”. Made by best local mango in Bali, this dessert will melt once it comes into your mouth.
Frestro & Bar is located on Petitenget Street, Seminyak Bali. Petitenget street at Seminyak is one of famous street in Bali and become one of famous destination to find best dining experience. This street has various types of tourist and visitors, from all around Indonesia and all over the world. Through this “Brunch Menu”, Frestro & Bar aim to grab and get all tourist and visitors to have a dining experience here. We serve only the best quality food, with best ingredients and cooking method. The man behind the concoctions at Frestro & Bar, Ayip Dzuhri, has been setting the bar high by bartending at some of the hottest venues across Indonesia with his inventive cocktail creations. His friendly personality and natural talents in inventing creative cocktails and great beverages, ensures the highest expectations are met in delivering top-notch customer experiences.
Known for his bubbly and dynamic personality, Gerry Nainggolan is a well-travelled chef with a wealth of international experience. Gerry headed to Dubai in 2008 and took on the role of Chef De Cuisine and win several prestigious culinary medal . With his obvious love of travel which is a big part of who he is, Gerry has found that his food style is largely influenced by world cuisine. It’s also very important for Gerry to work in an open kitchen as he will sail from the kitchen to your table’s to deliver a different culinary experience .
