Desa Visesa presents the Balinese Living Arts performance inspired by beliefs, rituals and spirits behind day to day life in the village, this performance comes to life amongst the natural ambiance at Desa Visesa – immerse yourself into the vivant tableaus in Puri Kantor. The performance come with 2 different stories; Siwa Nataraja – Bali Unmasked and Dewi Sri – The Quest of Balance directed by the world-renowned puppetry team of Made Sidia and Peter Wilson
The premier launching that held at Puri Kantor was attended by approximately 70 invitations, which is from hotel colleagues and media partner. On 11 a clock’ the tourists who walk around the Puri Kantor seemed to be interested to watch the performance of Siwa Nataraja. Siwa Nataraja – Bali Unmasked is a stage performance at Puri Kantor – Ubud’s Royal Palace depicting a traditional Balinese banjar where, one-by-one, talented artisans are seen busily creating traditional flutes, masks, exquisite ritual offerings, paintings, and traditional puppets – all presented against an ever-changing scene of exquisite Balinese dance and life-like characters. When entering the Puri Kantor they are greeted by Desa Visesa Ubud staff, and asked them to use sarong while being treated by welcome drinks. The story succeeds to make the guests hypnotized and goose bumps, they also do not want to miss this moment by taking a photo with the casts. When the show was over the guests seemed very satisfied and gave a very positive response due to our different and unique story.
At 5 pm, all of guest are invited to watch Dewi Sri – The Quest of Balance performance that surrounded by the verdant rice fields at the Desa Visesa Ubud, revolves around the fabled Goddess of Fertility in the central role. Dewi Sri’s pervasive dominion over Balinese culture is considered essential to the prevention of famine, poverty, and disease. Dewi Sri’s reign over the rice terraces of Bali ensures security, balance, and prosperity to the agriculturally based Balinese society. Using dances and tales presented by the Island’s most accomplished performers, viewers will acquire an appreciation of the all-pervasive role played by a philosophy that mandates cosmic balance be rigorously maintained between man and nature, between man and God, and between members of the human community.

The performance at Puri Kantor is perform at 11.00 am – 12.00 pm, ticket price IDR 200,000 net/person (include welcome drink). And the performance at Desa Visesa, at 05.00 pm – 06.00 pm and the ticket price is IDR 300,000 net/person (include welcome drink & light snack).
